Choose ONE of the mass media effects theories discussed in (Chapter 13)(I will attach when accepted) and analyze how it applies to a media text (either a film OR a television show). In your presentation, spend minimal time explaining the concept/theory, and then use your case study (e.g., film/ TV show) to illustrate and explain it further. DO NOT spend too much time defining and explaining the theory, and referring to the textbook; that’s what the paper is for! Instead, focus more on the example.

Power Point presentations are mandatory.

You are required to include a bibliography (APA style), and also, use in-text citations, when required. The bibliography and cover page are NOT inclusive of the minimum length requirement (5 pages). If possible, also attach images of your example – this will help you illustrate your argument better. Make sure you follow a proper essay format – introduction, body paragraphs, and conclusion. Also, remember to include a creative title!

1. Powerpoint presentation, (15 min) (include the things to say in the additional notes)

2. Assignment : 5-6 pages (excluding cover page & bibliography)
