A. Collaborative business creates opportunities to share more than just business. There are opportunities to share industry knowledge, best practices and also share in expenses (ie marketing and shared services).

B. One benefit of having a B2B e-commerce is scalability. This can be beneficial for a business by allowing the orginization to grow and meet market demands by creating new channels for sales. With this they will be continuously be reaching new market segments.

C. I chose a recent deal between Apple and Amazon, which these two companies came to an agreement to officially sell Apple products on Amazon.com. This trade might be beneficial for these two companies; however, many third-party sellers might have to look for other products to resell, but Apple. As an example, an article from CNN states that Apple has made for third-party sellers to resell products more difficult than ever and this current deal is even harder for those resellers. In an agreement between Apple and Amazon, Apple requested from Amazon to remove all Apple products from third-party stores. As CNN claims, Amazon already has notified third-party sellers to sell Apple products before January 4, 2019, otherwise, those items will be removed, or those sellers need to contact Apple to be an Authorized Apple Reseller which has its own drawbacks.

Benefits for two companies:

  • This deal will allow Apple to bring products to countries such as the U.K., France, Germany, India, Italy, Japan, and Spain.
  • Will boost both companies’ sales.
  • Amazon will get a benefit to put its Amazon Prime Video app on Apple TV.
