As we prepare for Week Three which will explore social media, reflect on your own use of technology.

Did it start with MySpace, Facebook, YouTube, Blogger, Twitter, LinkedIn, or Pinterest?
Which applications have you used, and why?
Are there any you have stopped using, and why?
How has your communication changed with family and friends?
Do you Google?
If you have not used any type of social media, explain why. What is stopping you?
What do you believe are the pros and cons of social media?
How do the applications stand up to the checklist for evaluating technology?

Journal Options:

Create a written reflection journal.
Create a screencast reflection using Jing.
Create a reflection with your own avatar using Voki.
Post the reflection questions on a social media site of your choosing and ask others for input. Discuss the questions above with them, and write a reflection based the interaction.
